Sandy and Eric are asked to conduct focus groups and telephone interviews of leisure guests and meeting planners to assist the resort development team in planning a significant infusion of cash investment into the property.

The resort team is looking for validation of their own ideas as well as an honest appraisal from guests as to where they believe the most important areas for improvement are and why. Panetiere also included many marketing related discussion points to assist the resort marketing department in learning how best to communicate with meeting planners and leisure guests both in repeat guest marketing and on the website. A total of 65 guests were touched in the focus groups and phone surveys.

Panetiere handled the project from A to Z: developing questions and discussion points; personally calling each potential focus group attendee to invite them; liaising with the hotel where the focus groups took place; acting as professional facilitators of the focus groups; calling and conducting all the phone interviews; compiling all data and providing a detailed report with percentages and emotional points.
