Panetière Foundation
giving back to people and the land
programs in india
In this time of economic uncertainty, we are reminded of our own challenges as well as those of others around the world. In that spirit, we will incorporate The Panetière Foundation in early 2009.
The programs, fundraising and volunteer efforts will provide a framework to give back, connect with the people of other cultures, and expand our understanding that we as humans are all one.
We will be funding this foundation from 4% of all our operations revenue.
Our first programs will be supporting the people of India with education and conservation programs. Sandy will be working on education programs for poor village children and Eric will focus on forestry conservation and energy derived from oils grown along with the natural forest that support medicines, harvestable timbers and water retention.
Time to reach out and embrace. Sandy and Eric were in India during the Mumbai attacks, lived and worked with Muslims, Hindus and Christians. They discovered a smidgeon of another culture.
